Yearbooks are here! This morning was filled with laughter, smiles, and lots of signatures as our entire school came together for a yearbook signing celebration! Students had a blast sharing memories and collecting messages from friends and staff. A huge thank you to our generous donors—each one is highlighted in this year’s book—for making it possible for every single student to receive a yearbook at no cost. 🎉 Final Staff Spotlight of the Year! 🌟 We’re ending the year with a bang by celebrating Sheri Ramirez as our last Staff Spotlight Winner of the school year! 🍎 Sheri is recognized for being helpful to anyone who needs it, for always making others smile, and for simply being all around amazing! Her kindness, support, and positive energy have made a lasting impact on our school community. Sheri will receive the coveted apple 🍏 once again and can visit Mrs. Holyoak’s office to pick out a well-deserved prize! Good morning 5th grade families! We’re excited to invite you to our 5th Grade Farewell Parade on Thursday, May 23rd at 11:00 AM! 🎉🎈 Let’s give our incredible 5th graders the send-off they deserve as they get ready to move up and move on to new adventures! We’ll have music, cheers, and lots of smiles — and we’d love for YOU to be part of the fun! 🎨 Make colorful signs, bring balloons, wear your school colors, or even dress up in fun costumes! 📣 Cheer loudly and proudly as our students parade by one last time as elementary schoolers! 📷 Don't forget your cameras — this will be a memory to cherish! Pool Day = Best Day Ever! Today was one for the books as we wrapped up the school year with our annual splash-tastic Pool Day at the Aquatic Center! We’re pretty sure this is one of their favorite days of the entire year!

Field Day Fun! Today we celebrated the end of the school year with an exciting Field Day full of laughter, teamwork, and sunshine! Students enjoyed classic games like tug of war, egg races, and the always-popular parachute. It was a day to remember! A huge thank you to our amazing PTO for helping make the event a success, and a special shoutout to Trevor Tinkle at State Farm for generously providing snacks for our students. Your support means the world to us!

🌟 Staff Spotlight Winner! 🎉 A big congratulations to Paige McAllister, this week’s Staff Spotlight Winner! 💐 Paige is known for her bright smile and for being happy and positive every single day. She stepped up in a big way by taking on a class mid-year—and she’s doing an amazing job! Her positive energy and dedication are truly inspiring. Paige will receive the coveted apple 🍏 and can stop by Mrs. Holyoak’s office to choose a special prize! Thank you, Paige, for bringing your sunshine to our school—we appreciate you! ☀️👏

Friendly Reminder: Please make sure to return the pink lunch form with your student no later than tomorrow, May 13th. Our amazing lunch lady needs to place the order tomorrow to ensure she has all the supplies needed for students who will be taking a sack lunch home on the last day of school. Thank you!

Over the past month, our kindergarteners have been busy learning about life cycles! They had the amazing opportunity to hatch their own chicks right in the classroom and watch caterpillars transform into chrysalises and then beautiful butterflies. It’s been a month full of wonder, discovery, and hands-on learning!

Our 1st graders had an exciting field trip this week to CAL Ranch! They had a great time learning all about chicks—how they’re cared for, what they eat, and even got to see some up close. Such a fun and educational experience for our little learners!

Who had spirit? These two sure did! Totally unplanned, totally matching, and totally FUN!

Good afternoon, Linden families! This is a friendly reminder that our annual Fun Run is happening tomorrow! Families are more than welcome to come and participate with their students. If you plan to attend, please be sure to stop by the office to sign in and complete a waiver. Please remember to have students dress appropriately for the weather. All students will be outside during their grade-level events—even if they’re just cheering on their friends. Don’t forget sunscreen and a water bottle! We’re looking forward to a fun and active day together!

Happy Principal’s Day to the most caring person I know — Mrs. Deitering! She would do absolutely anything for our students, and her heart for this school community is unmatched. I’ve watched her go above and beyond day after day, making sure every child feels seen, supported, and safe. She’s not only an incredible leader but also the kind of boss everyone wishes they had — encouraging, selfless, and fiercely dedicated. This school year has been wild, but I am beyond thankful to be by her side through it all. We are all so lucky to have you, Mrs. Deitering — thank you for everything you do!

WOW! Mrs. Miller’s Kindergarten Art Show was a masterpiece! Our talented young artists studied famous painters like Picasso, Van Gogh, Monet, and more—then recreated their styles with incredible care and creativity. From bold colors to thoughtful brushwork, their art is proof that even our youngest learners can do hard things and do them beautifully. Way to go, Kindergarten—we are so proud of you! Our 5th grade students are having a fantastic time at camp! It’s such a wonderful opportunity for them to relax, unwind, and enjoy the great outdoors. Even more special—they’re getting to meet fellow 5th graders from the other school in our district before heading to junior high together. So many memories being made!
